LinkedData.Center meets Henry Cowell
In August 2018 the LinkedData.Center campus at Esino Lario hosted the Contemporary Project of the pianist Luca Pedeferri, whose programme Exultation takes its inspiration from compositions by Henry Cowell — a live recording made in the quiet of the campus.
In August 2018 the LinkedData.Center campus at Esino Lario had the honour of hosting the Contemporary Project of the pianist Luca Pedeferri.
The work, entitled Exultation, presents a number of pieces inspired by compositions of Henry Cowell.
The setting of absolute quiet that one breathes at Esino allowed the live recording of a CD that will shortly be published by a prestigious label specialising in contemporary music.
Active in the first half of the last century, Henry Cowell was one of the great innovators of piano technique. LinkedData.Center is glad to celebrate his memory by supporting one of the most innovative projects on the Italian contemporary-music scene.
