The Mopso product of LinkedData.Center has been selected for the open-banking initiative of OfficinaMPS, the permanent laboratory of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena dedicated to innovation. The co-design phase with the management of Banca MPS begins now, and it will see us engaged in devising specific projects oriented to answering the institute’s real needs.
The initiative was in fact born with the objective of integrating the current traditional-banking model by promoting innovative ideas able to improve the user experience with advanced solutions. The current health emergency has brought out all the more forcefully the importance of the contribution that technology-rich ideas can make inside the banking system. For this reason the permanent laboratory of OfficinaMPS has not stopped: it processed every application remotely and will go on with virtual meetings, to offer the companies it has selected continuity and future prospects.
Launched last November, the initiative dedicated to open banking gathered the participation of many innovative companies that proposed their advanced solutions inside the OfficinaMPS community. From an initial selection of 24 startups, a jury composed of managers of the bank chose the 8 companies that will engage in the projects dedicated to making the processes at MPS more efficient and better.
LinkedData.Center is a startup that devised the MOPSO software, able to integrate information coming from different sources in an intuitive and effective way, increasing the ability to estimate the risk profile of customers and of their transactions, and able to improve the anti-money-laundering applications used by banks.
