SDaaS™

Overview

SDaaS (Smart Data as a Service) is the software platform designed and provided by LinkedData.Center to build and manage Enterprise Knowledge Graphs. It empowers applications to integrate any Linked Data and leverage the full potential of the Semantic Web. SDaaS is the reference implementation of KEES (Knowledge Exchange Engine Specifications), making domain knowledge tradable and shareable.

The platform learns, reasons over, enriches and publishes linked data in a graph store, queried by applications via SPARQL or REST APIs. It supports configurable OWL and rule-based reasoning, automated ingestion (VoiD) and data-provenance management (PROV-O), and works with leading graph stores such as BlazeGraph and AWS Neptune.

Platform strengths

SDaaS implements the SPARQL 1.1 standard in full across its Query, Update and Protocol specifications, so applications read and write the graph through one open, portable interface. It scales to billions of linked triples and connects to multiple graph stores, and it deploys wherever your data lives — cloud, private cloud or on-premises. It can use your own storage or a graph store supplied as a service.

Editions and licence

SDaaS is available free of charge under an open-source licence in Community Edition mode — CLI interface and core tools for creating a knowledge base — or under a commercial licence as Enterprise Edition, which extends it with additional tools and interfaces.

In use

SDaaS powers, among others, anti-money-laundering and fraud detection (Mopso), AI applications (EZClassifier, AdvisorLens), identity management, financial data processing and recommendation engines.
