Historical application
Overview
Amlet Care is a health-credential solution built on Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI). A vaccinated or tested person receives a “verifiable credential” — a digital certificate of their status — and presents it from a digital-identity wallet (an e-wallet) by scanning a QR code. The SSI model’s selective disclosure lets a controller verify a health status without learning whether it came from a vaccination or a test, and without asking for identity documents; access to the wallet requires a biometric proof.
Background
Developed by LinkedData.Center and presented under the Amlet Care name in autumn 2020, in the context of the Digital Green Certificate discussion — in collaboration with Cyphlens, whose printed-code technology masks the holder’s name and health information, and within the Dizme ecosystem promoted by InfoCert.
