Overview

AMLO — Anti Money Laundering Ontology — is an ontology family for anti-money-laundering knowledge and facts. Its main module, AMLO-core, extends the Financial Industry Business Ontology (FIBO) with formal concepts for describing AML knowledge. The family also proposes a social-network module and a verifiable-credentials module; the modules are not separate institutional entities, and the verifiable-credentials module was explicitly a proposal at the time of the source.

Background

The centre announced a new version of the AMLO-core ontology on 7 January 2020. The AMLO family is developed by a multidisciplinary group as part of the Mopso project hosted at LinkedData.Center, and its Quickstart example runs on SDaaS Community Edition.
